Great news everyone! I have decided to open my own music publishing, entertainment and promotion company called Rough Edge Entertainment. We are closing down my former record label (Nine Fifty-One Records) to focus on this new venture. We are still booking many my shows through Mike Bowers of Bowers Entertainment in Asheboro, North Carolina and will continue to do so.
Rough Edge Entertainment will serve as my record label as well, unless another offer comes along that I can't refuse. Even then, we will continue to keep the business going, signing on new acts to record and promote. This will be a huge undertaking on my part, but I feel that this is best for my career.
As many of you know, we are kicking off the "Redneck Women and Beer" tour in 2009! The exact date of the kick off will be announced soon. We will be performing at several of the same venues we are performing at now, along with some new venues as well. We will still play mainly cover songs during the first few sets, but our last set will contain many of my original songs along with a few cover tunes of my musical influences.
