Meet Denver EvansMeet Denver Evans

Denver Evans' Biography

Denver Evans was born in San Jose, California on April 15th. His father, Randy Evans was a well-known country and rockabilly singer around Northern California in the 1970's. When Denver was almost three years old, he and his family moved to East Tennessee so his mother could be closer to her side of the family. As time went on, Denver and his sister Diane both grew to have a great interest in the music business. Denver started learning to play keyboard by ear when he was twelve and by the time he turned thirteen, he was performing with his dad's band in bars and honky-tonks around East Tennessee. When Denver turned twenty-one, he hit the road playing keyboard and singing harmony for several different bands. Life was going great until Denver got the news that his father was diagnosed with Leukemia. In February 1997, his father passed away. After taking some time off, Denver realized his dad wouldn't want him to quit performing, so he took to the road playing music once again. In 1998, Curb Records asked Denver to play keyboard for their new artist Trini Triggs. Trini was doing well with a few songs on the radio like "Straight Tequila" and "Horse to Mexico". They were playing huge shows, riding on a tour bus and was sponsored by Coors Beer. Denver even played with Trini on TNN's Prime Time Country with Gary Chapman! After a while though, Denver started growing tired of being the "side man". He says, "I always dreamed of being up there at center-stage singing like my dad". So, in 2001, Denver took the plunge and struck out on his own writing and performing his own songs. Since then, he has opened shows for Montgomery-Gentry, Mark Chesnutt, Daryl Worley and the Bellamy Brothers. Now, Denver is looking to sign on to a record label, but is forging ahead to promote his music to radio and nightclubs all over the United States. We hope you will have a chance to catch the Denver Evans' "Redneck Women and Beer" tour in 2009!
